Description

These are four gate piers located 30 metres north of Ceddesfeld Hall, dating from the early 19th century. They are made of squared sandstone and have a square plan. Each pier stands about 3.0 metres high and features a projecting base, a mid-band, and a cap topped with a low pyramidal shape. The piers mark a wide central carriageway and a narrower pedestrian entrance on either side. The gates have been removed. These piers are included for their group value with the nearby Ceddesfeld Hall.
