Description

The castle wall behind No. 3 is a Grade I listed structure dating from the 12th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and features a large buttress that stands approximately 7 meters high. The wall includes the base of an angle tower, which has square corners, projects about 2.5 meters, and measures 3 meters across its east face.
