Description

No. 2 Owengate is a house dating from around 1800. It is constructed of English bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has four storeys and one bay. On the left side, there is a six-panelled door with an overlight featuring Gothick tracery. To the right, there is a sash window with glazing bars, both of which are set under flat brick arches. Similar windows are located above. The hipped roof has a truncated chimney on the left side. Additionally, there are plain wrought-iron area railings on a chamfered dwarf wall.
