Description

The headstone to Thomas Hanby, located 1 metre south of the Church of St. Giles, dates from 1760 and is made of sandstone. It features a small size with a stepped top that has rounded corners, adorned with raised interlacing scrolls. The border consists of linked ovals and paterae framing the inscription, which reads: "Thomas Hanby of Gilmonby died Jan the 20. 1760 aged 66."
