Description
This is a township boundary stone located approximately 200 metres east of Horseshoe Wood, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and stands about 0.5 metres high with an arched top. The stone features large Roman capitals, with a "P" on the north side representing Pittington and an "H" on the south side representing Haswell.
