Description
Elemore Grange Barn is a barn, possibly used for timber storage, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with brick arches and features a moderately-pitched Welsh slate roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with a layout of 1 + 3 + 1 bays. The two-storey left bay includes a four-panel door, with a square window above that has a projecting sill. The central three-bay section extends through two storeys and is open at both the front and rear; it features three elliptical arches of brick supported by two square stone piers and the end walls. The right bay has a square opening on the first floor with a projecting sill. Additionally, there is a one-bay right return that includes a 20th-century vehicle entrance. The structure is supported by three original king-post trusses that hold up a hipped roof with plain close eaves.
