Description

The gate piers and gates at the entrance of the churchyard of St. Laurence are likely from the early 19th century, possibly dating to 1846. They are made of sandstone ashlar and feature wrought iron gates. The structure includes three tall square piers that are chamfered, with cornices and flat tops. These piers support gates that have spiked dog-bars and heads, with bud finials on the principal supports.
