Description
The coach house located 15 metres north-east of Number 12, The Village, is a Grade II listed building dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a graduated green slate roof and features two storeys and four bays. The front has four wide, boarded double doors set under wooden lintels and flanked by square-plan stone piers. To the right, there is a boarded door beneath a stone lintel. Above the doors, there are four partly-glazed, hit-and-miss windows. A loading door is positioned to the right of centre within a large gabled half dormer. The building has a low-pitched hipped roof and four partly-glazed, hit-and-miss windows on the first floor at the rear, which faces the main road. This coach house is included in the listing for its group value with other nearby structures.
