Description
14, 15, and 16 Allergate are three houses built around 1700. They feature painted render, with No. 15 having incised details and painted ashlar dressings. The roofs of Nos. 14 and 15 are covered with concrete tiles, while No. 16 has a Welsh slate roof, all topped with end brick chimneys. Each house has two low storeys and two bays, totaling six bays across the three buildings.
No. 14 has a central renewed door set in a plain wood surround, while No. 15 features a central four-panelled door with an overlight in a plain reveal. No. 16 has a half-glazed door located to the right in a plain reveal. No. 14 is adorned with wood drip moulds over the ground floor cross windows and first-floor 16-paned sash windows. No. 15 has projecting stone sills beneath its cross windows, and No. 16 includes late 19th-century sash windows. Additionally, Nos. 15 and 16 have rendered first-floor bands.
