Description

This stable and byre range, which is attached to the right of Alwent Mill House, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with dressed quoins and features a pantiled roof. The building is single storey with a loft and consists of two narrow bays. There are two Dutch doors with flush lintels and a hit-and-miss window to the left. The roof has slightly projecting eaves. This structure is included for its group value with the adjacent mill house.
