Description

Crosshill Stone is a cross base and upright slab located on the west side of the B6276 in Lunedale. The base is medieval, while the slab is probably from a later period. It is made of limestone and features a thin, 1.25-metre tall slab that is tenoned into a rough oval base, which has a worn rectangular socket hole.
