Description

This is a house dating from the 17th or early 18th century, with features added in the early 19th century. It has a stone plinth and incised stucco exterior, topped with a Welsh slate roof and a brick chimney partially covered with render. The house is two storeys and an attic, with two bays. A 6-panel door, with a 4-pane overlight in an architrave under a bracketed cornice hood, is located on the left side. Tripartite sash windows with glazing bars and stone sills are present, one on the right and two above. A flat-headed dormer is positioned on the right, and a stack is located on the ridge. The interior is reported to contain an 18th-century open-string staircase with a moulded handrail on a chinoiserie lattice balustrade, and continuous curved tread ends.
