Description

This is a window tracery set in the graveyard, located approximately 8 metres south of the gateway in Middleton in Teesdale. It originates from the former church of St. Mary and dates to the late 13th century. The tracery is made of ashlar and features a bar-traceried three-light window with an elliptical head, standing about 3 metres high. After the church was demolished around 1868, the window was moved to the Rectory garden and later relocated to the churchyard in the mid-20th century.
