Description
The ha-ha wall, likely built in the early 19th century, is located to the south-west of Windlestone Hall School. It separates the grassy slope in front of the Hall garden from the pasture below, extending approximately 160 meters. The wall runs between a high wall on the west side of the grounds and a brick wall with a gateway that once enclosed the garden immediately around the house. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a flat stone coping.
