Description
The boundary wall between Wilson Street and the garden walls to the east of Spring Grove in Barnard Castle is a Grade II listed structure, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a rounded rubble coping and stands approximately 2 meters high. This wall encloses the grounds of the house that is now part of No. 66 Newgate. At the southern end of the wall, there is a blocked door in a raised section that once provided access to the garden of Spring Grove.
