Description

No. 126 Gilesgate is a house that dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with brick dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney. The building has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance consists of a flushed door, and the windows are sash types with glazing bars, all topped with flat brick arches. There is a ridge chimney, and the roof is hipped on the left side, facing the south side of Gilesgate. This property also incorporates the former No. 125.
