Description

Foundry Bridge is a bridge built in 1880, made of stone and iron. It features rusticated abutments with stone piers that have moulded caps at each corner, which bear shields displaying the arms of the City of Norwich, along with sexfoiled panels below. The bridge itself has a single iron span, adorned with trefoiled panels beneath the parapet and circular openwork panels, each featuring a quatrefoil design. At each corner, except for the south-west corner, there are brick parapets that end in brick piers topped with stone capping.
