Description

These are a pair of two-storey-and-attic houses built in a Jacobethan style. The facades are rendered and feature labels above most windows. The roofs are slate-covered and have elaborate, cusped bargeboards, as well as groups of octagonal chimneys. The east-facing gables each have a stepped attic window. Number 9 has a 12-pane sash window on the first floor, while Number 10 has a shallow, splayed bay window with Gothic glazing on the ground floor, which now extends upwards. The returns on the left (Number 9) and right (Number 10) sides are also gabled, with narrow attic windows, and two windows to the first floor. A porch is located in the angle with a rear cross wing, which is gabled at each end.
