Description
The building at 23 High Street is a two-storey structure with a central entrance plan, constructed from cement-rendered rubble and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring red brick stacks. The ground floor has unequally sized rooms, with a central panelled door that is set back in a recess and lacks an architrave. There are two windows on the ground floor, which are sash windows with 6 over 6 panes, and on the first floor, there are smaller sash windows with 6 over 6 panes that have been replaced since the building was listed in 1974. Notably, the first floor windows are not aligned above the ground floor windows. The roof is steeply pitched with gable ends, and there is a red brick stack at each gable. The rear elevation was not inspected during the resurvey.
