Description
Michaelstone Bridge is a likely early to mid 19th century twin-arched bridge designed for a single carriageway, built in the style of 17th century vernacular architecture. It is constructed from coursed rubblestone and features two voussoired arches, along with a central refuge for pedestrians. The bridge has rough hewn coping stones and a stringcourse located beneath the parapet.
