Description
The revetment wall of the churchyard at the Church of St Mary is a rubble retaining wall that stands about 3 meters high, decreasing in height as it approaches the churchyard gate. The adjoining roadway is paved with limestone setts and runs uphill from Chapel Lane to the Church of St Mary on Chapel Hill. This road is approximately 3 meters wide and about 300 meters long. The top 100 meters of the road runs parallel to the churchyard, and the paving appears to end shortly after passing the church.
