Description
The tomb of J S Brown is located in the churchyard of the former Church of St Mary. It is made of white limestone ashlar and is designed in the style of a Roman altar. The tomb features three square steps that decrease in size, supporting a square shaft that rests on a moulded base. At the top, there is a low pyramid cap. The inscription on the tomb commemorates J S Brown, who died in 1841.
