Description
Tregrug Farmhouse is a two-storey house, likely built in the 19th century, that is entirely rendered, probably over local rubblestone, and features Welsh slate roofs. The house has a single depth layout with a rear outshut and an additional lower wing on the left gable. The main front of the house is roughly symmetrical, featuring a central panelled front door set within a gabled porch. To the left of the door is a 4-light timber mullioned window, with each light containing two panes. To the right, there is a 2 + 2 pane casement window, and on the upper floor, there are two more windows, including a central 5 x 3 pane arch-headed window. The roof is steeply pitched, with ridge stacks located at each gable. The left wing has a 3-light window on the ground floor and a 2-light window above, similar to the main elevation. Most of the windows are likely Victorian, except for the one above the porch. The rear elevation features a continuous outshut covering the ground floor, and the gables are blind. The interior details were not available at the time of the resurvey.
