Description
Lower Pentre Gwyddel is a small farmhouse constructed of painted rubble with a slate roof and brick end chimneys. The entrance is located on the south side and features a central doorway beneath an open gabled porch. Flanking the doorway are two 2-light windows with casement glazing, each topped by a small catslide dormer that is set across the eaves. To the right, there is a lower in-line block that includes a doorway and a dormer with a catslide roof. The left end of the farmhouse has a projecting chimney breast with a tall brick stack, along with a modern lean-to extension.
At the rear, where the ground slopes down, the main block faces a yard and has two very small windows located at the eaves towards the left, a vertical ground floor window near the center, and a 2-light casement window to the right. The lower block features a pair of doorways at the center, a small window to the right, and a very small window at the eaves. Additionally, there is a lean-to block at a right angle that has a corrugated roof covering.
