Description
Cwm Farm features a range of farm buildings constructed from rubble stone, with pantiles and stone tiles on some lower courses. The main northern range includes a lofted section to the west and a barn to the east. The west gable end facing the road has a small loft light with a brick head. The southern front has stone steps on the left leading to a broad loft door, which is set under a stone-tiled gabled porch supported by two posts. Next to this is a wide ground floor opening with a curved brick arch that rises higher than the loft floor level behind, supported by a stone central pier. There are two inset entries with timber lintels and a small shuttered loft light above. To the right, there is a stable door with a brick cambered head and a small paned overlight, along with a tiny brick-headed window to the right and a boarded loft opening above.
The barn to the right features full-height double doors at the center and vent loops on each side. There is a gabled porch with a brick arch at the rear, which is obscured by added lean-tos. Two loft windows are located to the right. Inside the lean-to on the ground floor to the right, there are a loop, a window, another loop, and a door.
The barn has a seven-bay tie-beam-and-collar truss roof with double purlins, and some oak floor beams can be found in the lower end.
