Description

The Coach House at The Post Office is a two-storey structure built of painted rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and a tile ridge. On the northwest front, the first floor features a blocked opening that shows the outline of a former 9-pane window. The ground floor has a former carriage opening with a broad segmental arch made of stone voussoirs, which now contains an inserted 8-pane window. On the northeast gable, there is a small window with an external shutter on the first floor, while the ground floor has 20th-century boarded double doors with a flat head. The southeast elevation includes a small upper boarded window opening. The building was not available for inspection at the time of the resurvey.
