Description

Angel Cottage is an early 19th-century two-storey building constructed from painted rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring a brick stack. The front of the cottage is symmetrical, with three window openings on the first floor that contain 6 over 6 pane casements, each with cambered window heads and stone sills. The ground floor features a central pair of entrance doorways, also with cambered heads, leading to six-panel doors where the top four panels are glazed. On either side of these doorways are three-sided bay windows with canted sides. The bays are fitted with 4-pane Victorian horned sashes, accompanied by narrower 2-pane sashes on each side. The building was not available for inspection at the time of the resurvey.
