Description
The entrance gateway to Plas-newydd features a pair of square stone piers topped with stepped caps. These piers enclose iron gates that have spear and arrow finials, a horizontal panel adorned with quatrefoils, and a lower panel that includes extra bars. On either side of the gateway, there are convex stone walls that support iron railings, which also have arrow finials.
