Description
The walls to the terraced garden at Lower Dyffryn are constructed of rubble stone and feature dry stone walls. The large terrace located to the west of Lower Dyffryn house is surrounded by a low wall on the south and west sides, while the north side is bordered by a higher wall. Beneath the terrace revetment wall, there are remnants of medieval or Tudor fishponds. In the center of the north wall, there is a rounded alcove that includes a small central window, which provides a view of the fishponds and the River Monnow below.
