Description

The Powder House at Big Pit Mining Museum is a single-storey, rectangular brick building featuring a flat concrete roof. On the north-west elevation, there are two doorways that serve as separate entrance and exit, both fitted with steel doors. The eastern doorway includes a flat-roofed porch. High between the doors, there is a wide slit window with an angled brick sill. All openings in the building have square heads and are topped with concrete lintels.
