Description

St David's, also known as the Masonic Hall, is a large two-storey house built of stone with scored render. It features a slate gabled roof, which has been partly renewed, and overhanging eaves. The main elevation facing the garden has a central symmetrical bay with a three-window range, although two of the first-floor windows are blocked. The ground floor includes a central round-headed doorway with a tooled architrave, a recessed four-panelled door, and a plain fanlight, flanked by windows. The left end bay has a single first-floor window. The right wing is set back slightly and has two blocked openings on the first floor and one wide window on the ground floor. The rear elevation has three blocked first-floor windows and a large lean-to extension covering the entire ground floor. All the glazing has been replaced since the building was listed.

Surrounding the garden are attached walls to the northeast and southwest, made of stone rubble with terracotta capping. The southwest wall features a brick and rock-faced stone pier at the northwest corner and a pair of stone gate piers with caps, along with a replaced metal gate. The southern wall is shared with No. 2.
