Description
Crawshay Obelisk, located southwest of Castle Bridge, is a tall freestone obelisk featuring a square base and a stepped plinth. The obelisk has the inscription 'F Crawshay' on the north side and 'H Crawshay' on the south side. The base is marked with the year '1844' on the west side. Additionally, an inscription on the plinth states: 'I am a model of the only obelisk now standing at Heliopolis On of the scriptures Erected by Osortseen 1st'.
