Description
The Hayes Island Snack Bar is a building constructed with timber and features a modern roof covering. The north and south gables are designed with half-timbering and raking braces. The upper walls are half-timbered with roughcast panels and corner bracing, while the lower walls are finished with horizontal boarding. A canopy with a scalloped, vertically boarded valence is supported by wooden posts, and there is later glazing on the west side. The south side includes a broad counter opening, the east side has a doorway, and the north and west sides feature small windows.
