Description
The Plough and Harrow Public House is a timber-framed building dating from around the 17th century, with extensions added to the east and west. It features painted brick infill panels and has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high with an attic and includes various 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars. To the east, there is a long, low 19th-century wing that is also two storeys and has an attic, with a brick modillion eaves cornice and one gabled dormer on the north side. There are two brick chimney stacks, one located at the east gable end. To the west, there is a modern wing designed to mimic timber framing, which is also two storeys high and features a large gabled dormer at the eaves level on the north side, along with casement windows and a rendered gable end chimney stack.
