Description
Green Farm House is a timber-framed cottage dating from around the 17th century, featuring painted brick infill panels. It is one storey with an attic. Attached to the west is a two-storey and attic wing from the 18th century, creating an L-shape in the building's layout. The exterior is finished in painted brick and topped with a steeply pitched plain tile roof that has gabled ends. The 17th-century section includes one gabled dormer at the eaves level, and on the ground floor, there is a modern bay window and modern casements, all with glazing bars. A modern lean-to porch with a tiled roof connects the 17th-century and 18th-century parts of the house. There is one brick ridge chimney stack. The later wing features 19th-century three-light casements with leaded panes on both the ground and first floors, and two-light casements in the attic. This section has two brick chimney stacks, one on the side and one on the gable end.
