Description
Nos 11-24 are a terrace of 14 three-storey houses, now used as offices. They are constructed of red brick with painted stucco dressings. The end houses project slightly from the main line of the terrace. The buildings feature a modillion cornice and parapet. The second-floor windows are segmental-headed and adorned with stuccoed keystones, typically with 4-pane sash glazing. On the first floor, the windows have stuccoed shouldered architraves with keystones, also generally with 4-pane sash glazing. Originally, there were iron railed balconies on the first floor, but these now remain only on nos 11 and 16. The ground floor is covered with stucco banding, and the openings are offset from those above. The wide ground floor windows are detailed with quoins and keystones. The doorways are round-headed, stuccoed, and include stuccoed keystones, pilasters, spandrels, and cornices. Most doorways are located on the north side, except for no 11, which has its doorway on the left-hand (south) side. The ground floor of no 24 is faced in Portland stone.
