Description
11 Park Place is a detached town house built in a mixed Gothic style. It has three storeys and a basement, and is three bays wide. The exterior features coursed snecked masonry with freestone dressings and a weathered stringcourse, along with half-timbering in the gables. To the right, there is a cross-gable that includes a two-storey splayed bay, while the left side has a full-height bay with a hipped roof. A small dormer head is located at the centre of the roof. The house has slate roofs and bracket eaves on the left bay, which contains paired and single Gothic lights with drip moulds on the upper storeys, as well as sash windows. The upper right bay features a tripartite window beneath a strainer arch adorned with chequerboard tiling, with bay windows below that match the upper design. The central entrance is a pointed arch accessed by parapetted stairs, with a moulded archway supported by foliage capitals and nook shafts. There is a recessed Gothic screen with sidelights flanking the door, and an elaborate plaster ceiling inside. A corbelled stack is positioned between the dormers on the left elevation.
