Description
The 'Battlement Walk' is a high wall of stone rubble with battlements and a parapet walk. This extends north-westwards as far as the 'Watchtower', which is built of stone and has a parapet on northern, southern and western sides similar to the terrace parapets. The western wall is pierced by ventilators; there is a ground floor doorway and external stone stair rising up from the wall walk on the eastern side and forming on the western side a small turret in the angle between the wall walk and the south wall of the tower. The 'Battlement Walk' is pierced at its southern end by an arch with cambered head.
