Description
This is a cylindrical stone pigsty located to the north of Downs Farm, dating from the 19th century. It features a conical roof made of stone, although the exterior of the cone has been cemented. There is a square-headed entry on the north-east side, and the north side is partly covered with plant growth. It is likely that there was a former stone enclosure and trough that are no longer present. Inside, the roof is constructed using 'cave-work' or corbelled techniques.
