Description
The Mid Well at West-End Town is a 19th-century well that is currently inaccessible due to dense undergrowth. The well features a trapezoid chamber with stone-lined walls on three sides and a segmental stone arched roof. In front, there are stone pilasters that flank two iron doors. The spring is still in use, and to the right, there is a stone-lined rectangular overflow with a bevelled edge. The water from the spring connects to the pond at West-End Town.
