Description
The garden wall, gate, mounting block, and stables at Plymouth House are constructed from coursed and squared local limestone rubble, topped with a dressed coping. The wall stands approximately 1.5 meters high along the street front and features square gatepiers with an iron gate positioned in the center. The wall rises to the right behind a five-step mounting block and continues to ramp up, reaching a height of about 3.5 meters at the right return. To the right, there is a stable court with gates leading to the road, consisting of two parallel ranges of limestone rubble topped with Welsh slate roofs. The left-hand stable is a lean-to against the garden wall, while the right-hand stable has a gabled roof. The yard elevations were not visible during the resurvey, and the interior of the stables was also not accessible at that time.
