Description

This is a two-storey, two-window building, likely dating from the late 20th century, with a rendered and painted front that probably covers a local limestone rubble wall. It has a slate roof and a stone stack at the left side, where it adjoins the adjacent Tudor Tavern public house. The ground floor features late 20th-century, paired 3-over-3 pane sash windows. A late 20th-century four-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, is centrally located between the ground floor windows and incorporated into the right-hand window. The first floor has two 2-light casement windows. The interior was not inspected during a recent survey, but it is reported to contain stone stairs near the former fireplace at the east end. An early doorway in the Tudor Tavern, on the south side of the fireplace, is thought to be connected to this building’s original construction.
