Description

Summerhouse Tower is an octagonal tower built from local limestone rubble, located in the center of the fort. It has two storeys and likely featured a viewing platform on the roof, although this is now significantly damaged. The remaining windows are either openings or blocked. There is a doorway on the north side with an almost flat arch.

Inside, the tower had two internal floors. Evidence of a fireplace can be found in the main room, but there is no indication of a staircase.
