Description
The building located at the rear of the Town Hall is a Grade II listed structure, constructed from local grey stone with bathstone dressings and featuring slate roofs. It is designed in the Tudor style.
On the southwest elevation, there is an almost central doorway with a Tudor arch, which is surrounded by pierced arcading that includes small lights. To the left of the doorway, there is a four-light window, and to the right, a three-light window. Above, there is a central gablet dormer with small pane glazing.
The left elevation features a gable with a large Tudor window of three lights, followed by a block that has three three-light mullion and transom windows, capped by a plain rendered gable.
Facing the square, the building displays three gables; the left gable has a large Tudor window of three lights, the center has a doorway and a small three-light window, and the third gable also has a small three-light window.
