Description

This is a 19th-century black painted and panelled iron water pump located against the southeast elevation of No 23 High Street. The pump features a spout, a handle, and pyramidal coping. In front of the pump, there is a stone trough, and it stands on a raised platform made of stone slabs with stone rubble sides, positioned against the southeast gable wall of No 23.
