Description

The Old Customs House is a small rectangular building with a semicircular end, constructed from snecked rockfaced sandstone that is now heavily weathered. It features a hipped timber shingle roof. There is a gabled porch that is now roofless, supported by a sandstone block lintel. Adjacent to the porch is a second opening in the main wall. On the curved wall to the left, there are two blocked window openings, each with deep curved sandstone lintels and sills. The end wall to the right, facing Jennings warehouse, has two small rectangular windows. The rear wall is made of rubble, and the quoins at each end of the straight section indicate some alteration. The interior of the building is currently vacant.
