Description
The churchyard cross in Coychurch Churchyard is a large and tall structure made of finely coursed and finished stone. It features a hexagonal base with five steps, each step having a stone surface with a moulded edge. The plinth is a substantial broached hexagonal block set on a shallow splayed base. The octagonal shaft tapers upwards and has weathered stops. At the top, there is a later square sundial from 1715, which has replaced the original cross head.
