Coychurch Cemetery Chapel of Remembrance

Coychurch Cemetery Chapel of Remembrance is a small circular chapel built from roughly coursed rubble with concrete dressings. It features a shallow pitched conical panelled metal roof topped with a finial that has a flame motif. The chapel consists of five convex bays, each separated by full-length stained glass windows set in metal frames. The entrance bay is distinguished by full-height buttresses that, along with a curved concrete lintel, form a shallow porch with a matching curved step. Above the entrance, there is a phoenix motif, and the double doors have plain glass panels that allow a view of the interior.

Inside, there is a central concrete and brass stand for a Book of Remembrance, surrounded by four full-length stained glass windows in metal frames. These windows feature abstract designs in strong colours that represent the four seasons. The stone surrounds and the bays are finished in white render, while the floor is made of wood blocks and the ceiling is painted to match the conical shape.
