Description

This milestone is located northeast of Abergarwed on the B4242. It has a triangular section on a rectangular base and is built into a wall at road level. The stone is white painted and features worn carved lettering in black. The right side indicates 'VI Miles to Neath' and the left side reads 'VI Miles to Pont v.n.' for Pontneddfechan. There is a benchmark below, along with further worn lettering beneath that.
