Description
This is a reinforced concrete gun emplacement located on the south side of Mumbles Lighthouse. It sits on a levelled concrete platform and features a felt-covered flat roof. There is a doorway on the east side that has hinges for double doors. The front of the structure, which faces the sea, is rounded and includes an opening that spans the full width, allowing for a 180-degree turn of the gun. Inside, there are fragmentary remains of the gun's base and a single steel cross beam that supports the roof.
